We spent an exhilarating couple hours on a sunny but cool morning biking on the railroad tracks with Revolution Rails! It felt amazing to be physically active again!

We also explored Birdsacre again but this time we were able to tour Cordelia Stanwoods home! Our guide was a lovely 93 year old lady whose father, Chandler Richmond, founded Birdsacre & wrote Cordelias story in “Beyond the Spring”! At the end of the (delightful!) tour she gifted me a copy of her fathers book! It was a fascinating, and exceptionally well written, biography about a thoroughly amazing woman!

Next up, our first attempt at astrophotography with our new DwarfMini telescope! I give you the American Nebula!

Then there are the festivals! SO many festivals! In July & August there is a festival every single weekend – each in a different town! Last week we stopped at the Milbridge festival on our way back from the Grand Lake Stream Festival!

Our local festivals are Sullivan Daze and next weekends Winter Harbor Lobster Festival.

In between those two we wandered over to Somesville for the Acadia Repertory Theatre’s “Dracula – A Comedy of Terrors”! It was hysterical! So many bad puns… truly Monty Python meets Bram Stoker! Life Is Good!

All I need for utter perfection is the aloha state – Hawaii!
