It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold: when it is summer in the light and winter in the shade.

Great Expectations

Almost a dozen fat frogs are cavorting in the little pond outside our bedroom window -we were alerted to their presence by the their boisterous loud songs! Not exactly the harmonious warbling of Kermit… Now massive egg islands are floating about!

Spring is definitely here, tho frosty nights remain. Daffodils, crocus, forsythia and pie cherries are all starting to bloom. Bluebell foliage is emerging from its winter sleep under the leaves!

Frogs are in the news as well with news that King Charles has booted the Overseas Wannabees out of FROGmore Cottage! (See what I did there? 😎) Apparently they were told shortly after Haz’s autobiography “Spare”, or – as South Park calls it “Waaagh!” was released. I believe it’s in the news now to try to distract from South Parks brilliant parody of them! Well done your highness!!!

Meanwhile, the real royals were out and about with The Prince & Princess of Wales celebrating St Davids day in Wales. Catherine dressed impeccably for the occasion in Welsh red, wearing the late Queens Welsh leeks broach. Even her hat held a tribute to the famous Welsh archers!
