Turns out our birthday weekend at Charlie’s was a spectacle of sound! Beginning with night races leading up to Sundays Daytona 500), The dull roar of engines in the distance lulled us to sleep Friday night then the bone shaking sonic booms of the Thunderbirds flying overhead thrilled us Saturday morning! And at lunch it was song title trivia sparked by the “eclectic” set list of the Psycho Magnets at Saints & Sinners!

All in all a delightful weekend!
Sunday night we camped in the peaceful quiet of Sesquicentennial state park. Soon we’ll be back in our own little slice of heaven – five acres on the side of Afton mountain bordering the Mechums river!
