Time to wield my trusty sledgehammer and split me some firewood! Oh I’m a lumberjack and I’m okay! Split a wheelbarrow full of cherry, pear, maple and oak this morning after we took the wee doglette for his walkies.

Now its all neatly stacked at the edge of the drive, and since the frosty polar vortex is visiting us this week I may well light a fire tonight! Can you believe that yesterday Alabama had below freezing temps – this was BEFORE Billings, Montana did – for the first time ever?!?

Meanwhile the teeny tiny tyrannosaurus Rex strikes again! I got up to get some iced tea and came back to find my chair was no longer mine… sigh. He’s such a sweet & funny little fluff ball!

We heard from the medicaid adjudicator working on Tils case today. She hopes to hand off the report to Tils case manager soon. Fingers crossed. I do hope she gets approved, and soon! It’s been super stressful.
On the brighter side our tree trimming date has moved up a couple weeks to Nov 5th! Christmas coming sooner? Yes please! Might be time to start the set abouts… hmmmm!

And the stockings were hung by the chimney with care…!

Including an adorable one for the wee doglette himself!

Feeling pretty festive my own self! Two weeks and a couple days we’ll be trimming the tree! Bloody Marys to start, champagne & loaded chili when done! Time to break out the traditional Werz Family t-shirts and Santa hats for our post trimming photos!
