It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! At least at Home Depot and our house…

It’s that time of year again, so clearly we *need* a little Christmas now!

I did the set abouts on Tuesday as Cousin Larry arrives Friday. This weekend was the only one that worked for Larry, so this is the weekend we trim the tree!

Cousin Larry arrived Friday for his 37th Werz family tree trimming! We had lasagna, garlic bread and lovely mellow Friday evening to ease into the main event.

We started Saturday morning with coffees followed by melonballs, scrambled eggs with cheese, hashbrowns, chicken sausage, biscuits, and waffles with maple syrup. Thus fortified it was time for bloody marys in dads partying penguin glasses! Then on to the tree!!!

Success! Tree trimmed, and it was time to chill with college football on the big screen. We had the traditional chili (chicken this year) with all the fixings as a late lunch, and kicked back enjoying the fruits of our labour!

The final touches! Mrs. Mawyers Santas around Mumsies special tree!

Another fantastic Werz family weekend decking the halls completed!

Very nice! It sounds like a fun weekend.
