The cool nights have turned the trees into technicolor delights! Sadly that also signals that our time here is ending.

Our eagles have drifted away from the campground, however now mushrooms are popping up everywhere, and they are massive!

We went back for a final drive of Acadias Schoodic loop road, and sat on the granite of Schoodic point watching the gulls, cormorants, and sunlight glinting off the ocean.

We also captured a few more astrophotos before packing our DWARF Mini telescope away.

We’ve been packing up room by room. Deciding what to take home and what to leave in the camper. We bought buckets to store shampoos & body oils; liquid cleaning supplies; etc. as we are not sure how freezing temps will affect them. The backseat of the truck is cleaned and loaded. The truck camper has everything set except the final bits – cpaps, meds, electronics.

The pupsters are getting anxious, as they always do when we start packing. I’m not quite sure why as we have never traveled without them? But floofs are gonna floof!

Speaking of floofs, here’s my 30 minute watercolor! Trying to go fast, spontaneous, & have fun rather than overthinking it. I think the three little friends are kinda cute! Also just saw that this week is my favorites 76th anniversary!

And it’s all buttoned up and moved for the winter!
