Winter Harbor is a working lobster & fishing boat harbor. The huge fancy lobster boat below is Jacob Knowles new ride.

He’s the lobsterman who caught the egger for the Oceanarium last spring! He also filmed the release of the stage 4 babies the Oceanarium raised back to the ocean floor!

Walking the Wonsqueak trail gave us a tufted hickory moth caterpillar on sweetfern and a slender green snake crossing the carriage road!

We’ve stopped at Tidal Falls many times, but we’ve never truly seen the falls close to their peak… until today! The roar of the whitecapped waves crashing over the rocks! It was truly something to see AND hear!

And I found a flat hunk of granite roughly shaped like a heart on a picnic table there so Chris finally has his Stud Puffin title next to the bed! I am SO easily amused!
