We’ve been working hard to get in shape since we arrived. Initially we could only bike 4 miles, but now we’re up to ten and so it’s time to bike the Schoodic Acadia park loop road!

The loop was simply lovely! Crystal clear cornflower blue skies, gentle cool breezes, sunlight sparkling on the water! And magnificent views around every corner!

The Bike & we paused at Blueberry Hill to soak it all in! Bliss! However the long, granny-grinding hill in Birch Harbor soon brought us back to earth. Fortunately only two more short steep pitches before we arrived back at Schoodic Woods and The Truck! Our longest ride of the season, 11.14 miles, accomplished!
