The happiness began with us hopping over to Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens on Saturday! Simply sublime! Swaths of tulips everywhere, daffodils as well! Even a few peonies & roses in bloom! Absolutely delightful!

We followed a pathway to hidden gardens that we had never seen before! A fabulous stone pavillion overlooking a lovely secret garden surrounded by a dense shrubbery & towering trees!

On Easter Sunday the kids invited us over for a feast of corned beef & fixings, with deviled eggs and other delicious goodies! We chased iridescent bubbles & a giggling boy! T-Rex & Stella bounced off walls, while the sweetpea, Olivia Rose (9 pounds now!) peacefully slept!

Fantastic way to spend the day!
