Our “Christmas Eve” festivities commenced with the traditional game of putt-putt, Charlie was triumphant – as usual! Tho this year BOTH Charlie AND Chris scored a hole in one!!! Tavish was the one-leg wonder on crutches for the second year in a row.

We ran by the fish market on the way home in preparation for our Florida Feast. Three pounds of snow crab legs & two pounds of large freshly caught shrimp!!! DeeeLicious!!!

Charlie, Tavish, Chris & I took the little woof out for a walk in the neighborhood. What should we see but wood storks, egrets, AND a roseate spoonbill!!! After sunset we drove around admiring the holiday lights! Some were truly spectacular! Others made us laugh out loud – like the minimalist who put out his sign between two well decked houses saying simply “⬅️ Ditto! ➡️”

“Christmas day” was games of bocce ball with the boys, and tons of laughter! Little Carys Min Moody stole the show! After our turkey/ham/stuffing/green bean/mashed potato/sweet potato/creamed onion/cranberry sauce extravaganza (before food coma struck) it was time for opening presents!

Charlie “re-gifted” me a treasure he originally gave me in high school. About 16 years ago I came across it & gave it BACK to HIM at Christmas. This year it returned to me – LOL!

Football, world cup, more laughter & a few adult beverages later and another Werz Family Christmas has joined the pageant of memories!
