Happy Easter! Gorgeous day for an egg hunt! Went over to the kids for ham & smoked chicken with all the fixings!

Stella & Rex ran rings around the great room, chasing each other with wild abandon! Rex crashed hard on the drive home. Pretty sure both will sleep well tonight!

Daffodils, forsythia, cherries, and redbuds are starting to fade but lunaria, virginia bluebells, dogwood & sassafras are blooming their hearts out!

My dad loved dogwood and tried many times to get them established in his yard (with no luck). He would absolute love our forest – filled with blooming dogwood & redbud this time of year!
