Today marks Her Majesty as the United Kingdom’s longest serving sovereign – seventy years. Today is the official beginning of her Platinum Jubilee celebrations! It’s also a sad day as it is the also the seventieth anniversary of her father, the King’s, death.

I was thrilled to read the statement Her Majesty put out, calling for Camilla to be recognized as Queen Consort when Prince Charles ascends the throne!
