Stopped by our friends farm, a mile down the road from our place, this morning to pick up a couple dozen eggs.

We had given Jack our flock of about 20 hens & a rooster about three years ago as we were spending more time in Seattle caring for Tom & Merry.

His flock has grown dramatically since then! Guineas, geese, ducks and chickens! The family also has goats and guard donkeys who chase off predators. Plus cows and pigs.

Surprise! Lambing season is here!

We even saw a little one being born! Spring is indeed here.

These eggs will come in handy as Covid Cooking continues: homemade sourdough egg bagels!

The first batch have already been devoured.
