My holiday ornament from Chris this year – sums up 2020 perfectly!

We got to facetime with Jack & family this morning! Ate breakfast with him then watched the opening of gifts! Next year we hope to be there in person, but zoom & facetime are the only safe option with 200,000 Americans testing positive every single day now. Plus over 3,000 new covid-19 dead daily. America has lost over 329,000 people to covid since March.

But following CDC protocol NORADs Santa tracking showed Santa was appropriately masked!

Chris & I took a nice brisk walk this morning as 24 degrees was our high temp today! Walked 2 miles on Ennis Mountain road. Fitbit says we climbed the equivilent of 30 flights of stairs! Yes, clearly we live on the side of Afton mountain here in Batesville!

Then we feasted on home cured ham (one of the skills acquired during the pandemic) & Sriracha Cheese mashed potatoes! Totally 2020, right?
