Awake in the wee hours of the morning, asking the universe to remind me Be Here Now. Suddenly a glorious burst of horizontal lightning lit up the skies! I wandered upstairs to enjoy natures fireworks, watching til the rumbling of thunder became interspersed with mornings birdsong chorus! Serendipity!

Some glorious views from our 3 1/2 mile walk down Batesville road today! Huge trees were swaying in the breeze, but it was a practically perfect spring day and we had the road to ourselves.

Here’s the view from our deck as we enjoy this months pizza! Only one more in the freezer… But my flour order from Big Spring Mill in Elliston, Va arrived yesterday, perhaps I’ll try homemade pizza one day!
