Sometimes we get a glimpse into the divine… we are gifted a private peek into the magical ways of the natural world. Today we awakened to a thick seafog, its murkiness obscuring & enveloping everything. A mysterious misty morning indeed! It felt not ominous but sublime.

We were enjoying a peaceful walk with da boyz around the campground when suddenly we heard tremendous splashing! We looked up and saw a battle royale occuring just offshore! A school of bait fish running in the bay had captured the attention of hungry seabirds and seals!

The seals created a white capped whirlpool as they circled their unfortunate prey! Cormorants took every advantage of the feeding frenzy! Seals leaping above the whitecaps then arching down into the water again! What a sight! Simply glorious!

And then, as suddenly as it began, it was done. Nothing to see now on this misty morning but seabirds bobbing atop still waters as seals serenely glide by before slipping silently underneath.
