Incredible lightshow put on by Mother Nature last night. Massive bolts of lightning lit the sky, thunder rumbled & roared in response! It was wonderful to watch. We awoke to find the water blanketed by fog so thick that we couldn’t see the opposite shore.

Light drizzle followed so we decided to drive Acadias Loop road, assuming the weather would keep crowds at bay! And right we were!
