Our last days on the trip were fantastic! In Vermont we met up with our friends Wayne & Michelle and their son Vic at The Von Trapp Bierhall Restaurant in Stowe! You may remember we stayed at Buzzed Bee Meadery 3 or 4 times and heard us rave about their mead? Wayne & Michelle were the proprietors!

On our way home we visited The Amazing World of Dr Seuss and its Seuss statue garden. Whimsical and wonderful place!

My favorites – The Lorax, Horton, and The Grinch – were all there! As a bonus, in the adjacent museum was a full sized actual BULL MOOSE! At last! A real bull moose sighting! Okay, not a living and breathing moose any longer but a moose nonetheless!

All in all an utterly fantastic vacation! And it’s nice to be home again.
