We added the great state of Connecticut to our map last night while camping at Lake Compounce! Tonight we’ll add Massachusetts!

In other news: the kids have a new family addition – Rico! A gentle GIANT of a pupster! This photo exagerates his size (slightly!), he’s about 75-80 pounds.

First stop of the day – Barkers Character, Comics, & Cartoon Museum! Totally worth a visit!

Finally Walt’s Palace! Seems appropriate as tonight we’re camping in Walt & Migzie’s driveway!

We arrived at Wally & Migzie’s in a drizzly rain. Only 64 degrees in August?!? We had a lovely visit then wandered over to the Tree House Brewery for beers!

We returned to their place to have a delicious dinner of marinated grilled chicken breast, quinoa salad and grilled brocolli! Now we’re back in the camper listening to the peaceful sound of rain on the roof, pups curled up on the bed, and its another practically perfect vacation day in the books!
