Old. Totally unexpected blast from the past… Four separate encounters with square dance folk in just over a week? Thought it seemed like more than mere happenstance or coincidence. Talked to Chris about it, kismet? Fate? Destiny tweaking us out of the doldrums? Anyhow – this week we went to Circle8, had a blast and signed up for the class! Pretty surprising how quickly the first 2 dozen calls came back to us.

New! One of my favorite places – Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens – now have charging stations for EV’s, so I’ve signed up to volunteer on Thursdays from nine to noon!

It’s that time of year again. Frost warnings have started the annual plant migration from summer deck vacations back to winter mode. Welcome to the Jungle 2024 version!

This monster was a sweet petite little plant with three small leaves when Mel rooted it for me last fall. I’m almost afraid to think how much bigger it might get! 😳

Our lime/lemon, orange, and gardenia look better than they have in years! I cut them all way back last spring and they have filled out beautifully! The orange and lemon/lime have just been repotted today from heavy clay pots to plastic pots that are a little bigger (and tons lighter to lift!).
