Joined the Maple Valley Plus dancers for a fun night square dancing on Friday! We only had six couples so we played with an off sort of “hex” – four couples were heads, the other two were sides! Really fun, even did relay the deucey!

Then Saturday we moved the ‘rents into a 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment at the Chateau. The old house is clearing out nicely!

Sunday we took the day off! Started out rolling down the Cedar River Trail on our tandem. Clear blue skies, towering tree tunnels, verges bedecked with ferns & foxglove, daisies & butterfly bush, buttercups & blooming brambles. Cruising past anglers fly fishing in the river, even had a bald eagle soaring overhead! Sweet 20 mile ride was a practically perfect way to start the day!

Then we hopped in the car and drove to the sound to score our seventh lighthouse!
