We definitely chose the right route! Another night with tornado swarms hitting the southern states (I-70) and new snowfall of 6-10″ in the passes to the north (I/90) while we cruise along I-80 with clear sunny skies!

We also explored the Crane Meadows nature center. They counted over 670 THOUSAND sand hill cranes in one day in late March!!! We may have to plan a spring visit!
