Blast from the past in the news!

There’s a story about Paul Spudis searching for ice on the moon at The Hill.com today. Fun Fact: I was the engineer on console during the bistatic radar test that discovered ice at the south pole of the moon! A satellite I worked on at the Naval Research Lab, Clementine, mapped the moon in greater detail than ever before & found ice.

They RIFfed me on my wedding day, & lost the satellite before I got back from my honeymoon.

Two of our images- first sunrise over the moon, which is lit by reflected glow off the earth. Mars is a bonus! Second – earth.
