Boat Tours: To enjoy Sodus Bay & Lake Ontario without rod & reel! There are multiple choices but this one is special as they’re a non-profit dedicated to preserving Sodus Bay. Their Sodus Bay tours include a Saturday morning Eco-tour & Sunset tours.

The Sterling Nature Center: Another option which is under an hour away. Unique 1,400 acre park with over 2 miles of Lake Ontario shoreline, featuring glaciar formed bluffs, and scenic vistas. Loads of trails and bird habitat!

Chimney Bluffs state park:

Land and water clash at Chimney Bluffs, sculpting the most dramatic landscape on the Lake Ontario shore. You can experience massive earthen spires from above or along the lakeshore on nature trails. Biking: I can look further into this if folks are interested but my initial searches found 1/2 to 1 mile trails OR 30-50 miles with a fair bit of elevation change… So not optimum.

For those camping I recommend the Sodus Point KOA. Beautiful location on the water! Those NOT camping might want to look at its cabins too!
