Loving Life!

I took my usual leisurely morning stroll on the beach, dodging the rogue waves of the incoming tide… there is nothing like the sound of waves crashing ashore to calm the mind, and the scent of salt air to ease away any residual tension. I walk the shoreline morning and afternoon (2 miles total). It is heavenly here!

So much so that we have decided to return next year for six weeks! Today we looked at Casa de Playas other cottages. We love the Oleander, and also like the Sea Grape – just waiting to see what the cost would be for each before picking! Aaand it’s Sea Grape for the win (as Oleander is already booked)!

Deer in Betty Steflik

We take the boys on walks thu Betty Steflik every morning and afternoon (about six miles total every day!). It is an utterly magical place!

Flagler Art of the day: A very modest King Neptune!

River to Sea park!

We wandered over to hike the trails on the River to Sea state park. A very quiet, peaceful place with towering live oaks & sea grapes dripping with spanish moss, and palmetto groves beneath.

Forgot to mention our trip up to see Saint Augustines lighthouse a couple days ago! We now only need 14 more lighthouses to fill our second lighthouse passport book!
