2025 – the year Tavish finally won the family putt putt tournament!!! Tho I still scored (the only!) hole in one! The weather was sheer perfection and the competition was fierce, but in the end Tavish bested us all! Charlie was closest at just one stroke over him!

The pupsters took over the lanai for christmas day and had a fantastic time doing zoomies and playing with Carys! Charlie’s cats Beamer & Ginger wisely chose to hide away from the maniacal floofs…

Presents were opened before the feast in hopes of Carys eating her lunch but, alas, the flaw in that logic were the chocolates in her gift bag!

Since Tavish was only getting $ from us, we decided to make a game out of his present. A Magical Musical Mystery tour! When he opened his gift bag there was only a note saying his first clue was in a present under Carys’s felt holiday tree. As he looked for it the Linus & Lucy song from Charlie Browns Christmas played!

The next clue “Who leads Santas sleigh?” sent him searching for Rudolph as Rudolph the RedNosed Reindeer played!

Rudolphs clue said “Pam-maw kissed Santa?!? Naughty naughty!” so of course we played I saw mommy kissing Santa Clause and added a chorus of us singing naughty naughty! oh naughty naughty! Which rang out until he found the massive sparkly red lip pillow topped by a jaunty stocking cap with Naughty stitched on!

It’s clue sent him in search of Frosty the snowman as Frosty played! This gave him the final clue Listen to the LYRICS!

And with Bing Crosby crooning “I’ll be home for Christmas” Tavish searched the tree…

In the blue foil covered cardboard ball ornament from Charlie & my daddys childhood tree Tavish claimed his present!

And with that another Werz family Christmas celebration is in the books!
