A Total Repudiation! “Mandate” EVAPORATION!

Wow! We, The People, spoke LOUDLY in yesterdays elections. Across the country we voted for Democrats and democratic values. It was a complete rejection of Republicans and Trumpian policies.

Democrats won easily in Virginia, New Jersey New York City and California, setting up an optimistic entry into 2026 and beyond.

In New Jersey the counties that split from Dems and voted for Trump have returned to the Democratic fold, electing Mikie Sherrill as Governor! The black, Latino and Asian voters, as well as the women voters, have broken from Trump and backed Democrats. This should send a shock wave through the elected Republicans who have been touting Trumps “mandate” all year.

“This couldn’t be a louder rebuke of Trump and Republicans,” Democratic National Committee executive director Libby Schneider said in an interview. “So it’s sort of a new day for Democrats tomorrow, but we’re going to get right back to fighting.”

Meanwhile, more than 60% of voters in New Jersey and Virginia also said they were “dissatisfied or angry” about the way things are going in the country. Out of that group, 77% said they voted for Spanberger and 75% backed Sherrill.”

So I ask: when is our next “No Kings Day” or should I say – our CELEBRATION of Trumps TOTAL REPUDIATION in the elections coast to coast yesterday? I plan to call my Magat Rep and encourage him to see the writing on the wall today. And I will call my D Senators and tell them to hold continue to strong for health care. This is the first glimmer of hope for the survival of America in a year that has been beyond grim & filled with despair.
