My Congressman, sadly, is a maga. He sent an email SO full of gaslighting lies & distortions that I simply HAD to write a reply.

“Try again Sir. 

Republicans are the reason FOR the shutdown in the first place. You refused to meet with Democrats to come to an agreement on the budget, instead Speaker Johnson proclaimed ‘we have the majority therefore we will pass the budget WE want.’ And NOW you whine and cry because the Democrats refused to let you bully them? THAT IS RICH. 

Get to the table and NEGOTIATE – unless you are afraid to go back to work because then Speaker Johnson would have no more weak excuses and a certain Congresswoman would HAVE to be sworn in. Gee, I wonder if THAT is what your extended vacation is all about? 

Have you seen the Presidents poll numbers recently? You might want to try GOVERNING instead of your ridiculous posturing.

Camper goodies!!!

But on the brighter side today we sealed all the new campers windows and the bathroom skylight!

And installed the cute little lighthouse nightlight I made! We have taken over the bedspread as well!

It’s coming together quite nicely! I’m obviously going with a coastal theme, & it will be awesome!!!

Instead of the Sierra Club spiral bound weekly planner this yearI have ordered the Down East spiral bound planner! We are totally into Maine and spending The Season there! Gonna be spectacular!!!
