The administrations immigrant deportation efforts have made a mockery of the Constitution and Bill of Rights. People are being grabbed off the streets and “disappeared” without due process, without charges much less convictions. People are being deported to gulags in foreign countries. Even people who are legally allowed to live and work in America. Hell, even American citizens have been caught up in this unholy purge.

On the holy crap side: Joe effing Rogan has come out calling the 😡🍊💩s crackdown on immigrant farm & construction workers “insane”! He endorsed Trump last year. And even Ann Coulter is criticizing ICE.

The people detained and deported are described by Trumps administration as “the worst of the worst”, criminals, rapists, murderers, and violent gang members. But like everything this group claims – that is a lie.

In yet another show of performative cruelty a new detention center has opened in the heart of Floridas Everglades. Tents housing bunkbeds, surrounded by razor wire, and named (officially!) Alligator Alcatraz. To house 3-5 thousand people in the marsh, in tents, in brutal heat, during hurricane season. What could possibly go wrong? Gov DeSantis even assured folks that they are “working on” an evacuation plan if a storm strikes, good to know since there are already thousands incarcerated in that remote hell hole.

In other news: The “Big Beautiful Bill” has been passed. It guts Medicaid, gives a pittance in tax relief (which expires in 4 years) to average Americans and enshrines permanent tax cuts to billionaires and corporations. Rural hospitals will be forced to close due to brutal medicaid cuts. It is estimated that 11 million low income Americans will lose health insurance. They also cut SNAP, supplemental food assistance to pregnant women, children, and the elderly.

While these cuts are cruel and will harm so many, it is still somehow ‘amusing’ to note that a huge number of Trump supporters will be on the recieving end. Their vote to F Around is about to meet Find Out. They never thought the face eating leopards would eat THEIR faces.
