Last Friday evening it started snowing. A nice soft fluffy snow 5″ deep by Saturday morning. Then came sleet & freezing rain which entombed the snow in a thick coat of hard slippery ice. Five days later – where temps never rose to merely freezing, and plumetted every night into the teens – we are still a white winter wonderland.

Nancy gave me a bag of watercolor tubes and a spiral bound cotton fiber notebook of watercolor paper at christmas! She is an amazing painter, I had mentioned that I wanted to start trying my hand. Such a thoughtful gift! I am truly a rank amature but I had a lot of fun and look forward to painting more!

Da boyz went to the groomers today. Such handsome boys they are! I love being able to see those sparkly eyes & big smiles again! Such adorable floofs! Pre-beautification…

I decided my technique could use a little (ok – a LOT!) oh help so I swung by the library on the way to pick up da boyz!
