We’re cleaning up some long needed “deferred maintenance” this spring. First up was replacing the front deck, which was collapsing in front of the bike house.

After the deck was built it was time to caulk and stain the cedar siding. I’ve chosen a lovely pale blueish gray stain for the house and a deeper blue gray for trim and deck.

I am SO tickled to see the colors up on the house! They look fantastic together! I admit I was a little worried because you can never be sure how the little swatches will translate on the whole wall, but I could not be happier with the end result! The rains have slowed the process but next week it will be complete!
