Very pleasant, unplugged evening sitting out on our new deck (!) enjoying a bottle of our favorite wine to celebrate 30 years!

It never ceases to amaze me the huge difference a simple coat of paint brings! Decided to use one of the house paint samples on the metal lawn chairs. Wow! Texted the picture to Josh who remembered we got these chairs when he was in the eigth grade(!). Still going strong a quarter century later!

Surprise visitor at our birdfeeders predawn… A massive black bear, who completely destroyed all feeders except my BirdSnap! You can see his profile in the lower left.

His shoulder was taller than the BirdSnap when he stood up! Steel feeder pole bent as easily as a green twig!

Cousin Larry is coming up this weekend for Batesville Day but I took the afternoon off to craft a decorative seashell wreath for the porch. Turned really well I think!
