Todays bird report is exciting! We have TWO new feathered friends visiting! Louisiana Waterthrush & Yellow Throated Warbler! That brings us up to 54 birds id’d on our property since I started my nature journal sixteen years ago.

These birds were all id’d shortly after sunrise this morning by their songs in just three minutes in the Merlin app Audubon created!

The deck garden is now planted and will be glorious in a few weeks! The pallet this year is fuschia, rose pink, white, pale yellow, & deep purple.

The Secret Garden is beginning to awaken from its deep slumber… I’ve added in tiny seedlings of cosmos and impatiens. With the magic of time it should grow into a lovely place by June!

Finally the view from the (soon to be replaced!) front deck is quite simply sublime! Spring in all her glory! Life Is Good!
