We took the pupsters for a stroll on our peace path on glorious crisp cold winter morning. The ice coated fronds of goldenrod and wingstem towering over us sparkling like diamonds in the early morning light!

After the boys delivered their packages & peemail we climbed into The Truuuuck for our journey to Cape Hatteras National Seashore for a long weekend camping at the beach!
As soon as we arrived at the campground we took the boys over the dunes for a nice long stroll on the beach! Simply delightful, could feel all stress fading away with every step!

Our first morning we were awakened by boat tailed grackles tap dancing on top of the camper! Seriously! We took three long walks on the beach plus a couple laps around the campground to check out license playes! The end result was totally wiped out floofs who crashed at four and slept thru the night!!!

Rex has taken to running up to the waters edge and crouching to bark at the waves! Too funny! His not so little baby brother keeps attacking the skate casings that have washed ashore… crunch crunch – sigh…

Glorious sunrise for Christopher’s birthday! And the winds, wow, totally rocking the camper! He had his traditional birthday velveeta grilled cheese sandwiches for breakfast and there’s Sweet Heat mead chilling for this evening so looks like a practically perfect bday in every way!

Did I mention that it is incredibly windy? So windy the floofs needed their leashes to keep them from flying away like little Toto in The Wizard of Oz!

As for me, I’m rocking polar fleece and a down coat under Puffy, along with an insulated knit ski hat! Perhaps not stylish but completely cozy!!!

Almost forgot to post my Valentines day poem from Chris!
