We’ve taken to calling fat little puppy Chewy because – Chewbacca!

But that nickname will be permanently retired today as fat lttle puppy gets his first big boy haircut!!!

I’ve been looking at bird feeder cameras for many months. Even picked one out but sadly Santa failed to deliver… So, being a resourceful sort, I ordered my own!

Then after Chris installed it, I loaded it up with seeds, suet, apple topped with peanut butter & seeds! Sat back and waited, quite impatiently! First were wasps, then a very curious bee.

Next up was a chunky grey squirrel who apparently sized up the situation from a nearby flower pot!

Now I’m off to research getting the siren to sound when squirrels appear. Yes, that is supposedly a feature of my little Birdsnap!

Ah, seems the squirrel alarm requires a $5 a month subscription so, nope. I’ll have to come up with other deterence! But hopefully my feathered friends will see the squirrel activity and decide to visit the feeder!!!

That first honeybee has returned with a freaking SWARM of friends!!! The camera is recording hundreds of busy buzzing bee videos!

Looks like this weekend we’ll be relocating the BirdSnap onto the old bird feeding station with roof and baffle outside our bedroom to make it harder for the furry rodents! Perhaps the new location will also hide it from the bees? Stealth BirdSnap!
