Little teeny tiny Tyrannosaurus Rex now has a baby brother! The third lizard member of the family is aptly named TRIceratops, or T. Ric, in a nod to his older brother T Rex! (Ric for short) We Birds would seem to be woefully outnumbered but of course, as everyone knows, lizards are just devolved Birds, so its all good!

We’ld been debating getting a buddy for T Rex, someone to play with besides us. (note the tense used… past!) Unlike Jake, who truly couldn’t have cared less about other dogs, Rex loves them all and is so happy to see them! Let’s hope that sentiment stays the same when a new pup moves in permanently. 🥺

We camped at a Harvest Host brewery & hops farm in New Jersey after picking up Ric! A new pupster AND a new state on the map – Bonus!!! Sadly little Ric is an early bird and the rest of his pack are happily bed slugs… We’ll corrupt him soon hopefully!

Once we got home Rex began running circles in the great room, a huge smile on his face! Pausing to look back to see if Ric was following then zooming off again! They are clearly gonna be BFFs! Poor little Ric ran his tiny little legs off until he was so tired his legs splayed north, south, east, & west – then plop! Landing on his tummy like a starfish!
